Qin Dynasty-
Qin Shi Huang was the emperor of the Qin dynasty, he was a very strict leader. Qin gave most peasants one of two jobs, either a peasant was assigned to grow food or to harvest silk. Qin was very strict, if a peasant decided to not do what Qin said, then they would be put to death or would be sent to go work on the wall. The same was to ones that were lazy, slow, and unhelpful. Qin introduced a system of weights and measures, a system of money, kept the same writing language, and a standardization of laws. No one argued with him because there was most likely harsh punishment if they did. Qin was not a fan of teachers, scholars, and nobles, he greatly weakened them. He weakened the nobles because he didn't like how much power and wealth they had. The reason he weakened the teachers and scholars was because Qin wanted people to stop wasting time and only grow food. Daily life was most likely a normal hard working, industrious day, for farmers and peasants.
